Division- 1st , ( Now travelling in Europe)

Player Profile- Married and happy & living in Gatton!!!)

Playing History- 8 years this year at NYU.( now living in Gatton,we miss you 'Nads')

Favourite Position- Striker of course, but no one else will see my side of the story.

Favourite Team- Arsenal

   Favourite Player- Wayne Rooney, Thiery Henry.

Food- Asian.              Music- Reel Big Fish, Blink 182, & Dance.

Movies- Jim Carrey's stuff.               Most Remembered for- You tell me!

Career Highlights- Under 16 & 3rd Division Grand final wins.

Ambition- To keep playing.

Name- Ray Lenssen

Nickname- Ray ( Hightower)

Why NYU- Because its such a great atmosphere and I've been successful with previous teams at the club.

How long at NYU- since I was 6.

Achievements- Premiers 4 times, Grand Final winner 5

Favourite things- Love music , food and Liverpool.

Club awards- a cabinet full of trophies.

Club involvement- Coached junior team in 2004, working Bees, senior player.

What would you like to achieve with NYU- Top 4 finish with seniors.

Favourite player- Peter Crouch,    Why- Because he's a freak of nature.

Other Interesting things about You- Just love having a few beers and hanging out with my mates.

Name- Damien Perren

Nickname - 'Damo'

Why NYU- Started as a junior and have a lot of history here.

How long at NYU- 26 years

Biggest Achievement- Met my hot sexy girl at NYU

Favourite things- Heavy rock, BEER, All non spiucy food.

Awards- Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast Rep, ( Player of Series Sunshine Coast)

Club Involvement-Coaching Ladies and Juniors

Why NYU-, Born and Bred in Yandina and have heaps of freinds at club.

How long at NYU- 1998 under 16's

Favourites things- Music festivals , food, and wine.

Awards- Rep one year plus best and fairest,

Club Involvement- Not much ! I just like drinking here.

What would you like to acheive at NYU- Be as good as Iwas in my youth and win Best and Fairest again.

Favourite Player- Both my 'lil' brothers Ben and Sam, Why - There my Brothers 'Duh'

Name- Dan Smith

Nickname- Smudger

Division- Reserves (2nd Division) Also in Europe.

Player Profile:  Very married and living in the UK, We miss you Dan

Player History:  This is my 10th straight senior year playing for NYU the only club that I have played for and have also played juniors before this. 

Favourite Position:  In the Middle of the Park (or anything else)

Favourite Team:  Liverpool

Player Idol:  Stevie Gerrard, Roy Keen, Craig Johnson

Favourite Food:  I will try anything at least once

Favourite Music:  The Doors

Favourite Movie:  The Blues Brothers

Most remembered For:  Enjoying myself dancing on the top of the NYU bar. 

Career Highlights:  Waking up with the 2nd Division Winners Trophy beside me and not remembering how we won it in 2000.   Also winning in 2002. 

Future Ambitions:  To watch 1st Division win a grandfinal and be able to celebrate with them and dance on the bar some more.... 

Name- Clive Henderson

Nickname- Guv or Guv'nor

Division- 3rd's, 4ths, 35's

Started Playing at NYU- 1998

Club Awards-Team Player of the year 1999

Players Player 2003 & 2005

Club Coach of the Year 2004, Club Player of the Year 2006.

Why NYU- Its the best club on the coast for fun football & entertainment, a night at NYU means a good night out, also I love the teams I play in , there a great bunch of blokes and mates and remind me every week why we play football , because its FUN!

Greatest Achievement- Watching the kids in the teams I have coached develop into great football players.

Club Positions Held- Committe member 2001

Vice President- 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008

President 2007.

The Future- Hopefully to keep playing and coaching the clubs Teams . Also to help maintain this website so all NYU members & interested people have access to as much info about NYU as possible.

At NYU- 15 years

Why NYU- Its a really fun club.

Club Awards- 2003 u 14 Girls Best & Fairest, 2005 Club High Acheiver.Coaches award 2004

Highest Achievement in football- Sunshine coast Rep 2005, Queensland Futsal 2005.2006( 1st Div NYU 2009)

Favourite Player At NYU- Astrid Muller I hope I can play as awsome as Astrid in the future.

Player Idol- Anyone who wears number 3. ( cos I wear 3)

The Future- Keep having fun & play forever, plus continue refereeing.

Club Involvement- Coaching Rep and club football for 3years

Favourite thing- Chocolate

Name- Emma Roberts.  Nickname- Emz

Why NYU- Coz its the best club on the coast and it has a great atmosphere.

How long at NYU - 10 years.

Bigest Achievement- Being asked to play in womens team in 2004 (when I was 15)( 1st Div 2009)

Favourite things- Soccer, Chelsea, music.

Club awards- Best and fairest 16 girls 2005.

Club Involvement- Under 6 coach 2005 assistent 15 girls 2007.

What would you like to achieve at NYU- Everything. mainly win the grand Final.

Favourite  Player- Lucas Neil, Pete Godsall from NYU.

Why- Because he knows what he is doing and is a great player.

Other Interesting things about You- Love Futsal. I have been to nNationals twice and been invited to go to Brazil 3 times. I am going to Nationals again in January next year.

Name- Nathen Mills. As an NYU stalwart Nathen typically refused to fill out a player profile! so we did one for him.

Nickname- Nappy

Playing at NYU- 20 years or so.

Division- 1st ( ex but we hope to have him back in 2009)( we have & He's awsome in 4th Div)

Why Do You Play-  Because Guv makes me.

Awards- heaps!

Highest achievement in football- scoring.

Favourite Player at NYU- Guv & Nads.

Hope to achieve at NYU- A shot at Smudgers title.

Most Remembered For- Pyking it before the 'Guv' at the 2004 club presentation night.

Achievements outside football- Playing touch for Australia.

Name- Robert Lenssen

Nickname- Rob.

Division- 1st ( He's the best keeper ont he coast)

At NYU- 17 years.

Why NYU- Because its a great club and I've had no reason to leave.

Club Awards- Loads, check the Trophy cabinet in the clubhouse.

Highest Achievement- Sunshine Coast Junior and Senior Rep, plus playing in a few grand Finals.

Favourite Player at NYU- .          Player Idol- Ronaldinho.

What you hope to achieve at NYU - A premiership.         Other achievments- Loads in Futsal.

Club Involvement- I have coached rooball and been goalkeeping coach for the club.
